Misfits winners of CyberPowerPC Fall Invitational

Misfits won CyberPowerPC Fall Invitational and brought home a $9,000 prize - Renegades lost the finals 2 to 0.

Eight teams received a direct invite for the latest event in the CyberPowerPC Extreme Gaming Series. They fought from September 30th to October 1st in a best-of-three single elimination bracket.

Misfits prevailed over Luminosity and OpTic Gaming, then faced Renegades in the finals on Overpass and Inferno, and obtained two consistent victories.

The first fight took place on Overpass, the map selected by Misfits. They won the pistol round as Terrorists, and retained the advantage for eight rounds before the game switched in favor of Renegades. The bomb was defused six times in the first half.

Misfits CT-side was very strong and they lost only three rounds, bringing the first match home with a 16-11 score. Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan was the best player of the team with a 1.48 rating and 23 kills.

Renegades were simply overwhelmed on Inferno, losing the fight 2 to 16. François “AmaNEk” Delaunay was the top killer of the team with 21 kills, 121.9 average damage per round, and a rating of 1.86.
