Teamfight Tactics (TFT): Items cheat sheet, combinations, and effects

This list shows all the Teamfight Tactics item combinations available in the game. Each item is indicated with name, upgrades, and special effects.

Teamfight Tactics utilizes the same item assets available in League of Legends, so the icons and the names are mostly the same.

The bonuses, effects, and passive abilities follow the same guidelines, but they have been adapted to fit the new genre. For example, there are many effects that buff only the allied units in adjacent hexagons, or that proc after friendly/enemy units cast their unique spell.

In Teamfight Tactics, you can’t buy items with gold from an in-game shop, but you can acquire them from champions during the draft phase, and drop them randomly by killing AI-controlled monsters that spawn during the first three rounds of the game and in more rounds afterwards.

The cheat sheet below shows all the basic items, their bonuses, and how you must combine them to obtain a certain upgraded item.

Base Final Name Effect
Death Blade On a kill or assist, gain an additional 15 Attack Damage until end of combat (Stacks infinitely).
Giant Slayer Attacks deal an additional 5% enemy max Health as True Damage.
Guardian Angel Revive with 500 Health Points.
Bloodthirster Attacks heal for 40% of damage dealt.
Zeke's Herald At the start of the combat, allies within the same row gain 15% attack speed.
Hextech Gunblade Heal for 25% of all damage dealt.
Spear of Shojin After casting, recover 15% of maximum Mana per attack.
Youmuu's Ghostblade Wearer is also an Assassin.
Infinity Edge Critical Strike Damage is increased by 125%.
 

Recurve Bow

Base Final Name Effect
Giant Slayer Attacks deal an additional 5% enemy max Health as True Damage.
Rapid Firecannon Attack Range is doubled.
Phantom Dancer Wearer dodges all Critical Strikes.
Cursed Blade Attacks have a low chance to Shrink (reduce enemy’s star by 1).
Titanic Hydra Attacks deal 3% of the wearer's max HP to target and adjacent enemies.
Guinsoo's Rageblade Gain 5% stacking Attack Speed on it. Stacks infinitely.
Statikk Shiv Every 3rd attack deals 100 splash magical damage to 3 additional targets.
Blade of the Ruined King Wearer is also a Blademaster.
Repeating Crossbow On death, this jumps to an allied unit and grants an additional 20% Attack Speed & Critical Strike chance.
 

Chain Vest

Base Final Name Effect
Guardian Angel Revive with 500 Health Points.
Phantom Dancer Wearer dodges all Critical Strikes.
Thornmail Reflect 100% of physical damage mitigated as true damage.
Sword Breaker Attacks have a 33% chance to disarm for 3 seconds.
Red Buff Attacks burn 20% max health over 10 seconds.
Locket of the Iron Solari At the start of combat, allies within the same row get a 300HP shield for 7s.
Frozen Heart Adjacent enemies lose 35% Attack Speed.
Knight's Vow Wearer is also a Knight.
Iceborn Gauntlet On dodge, create an expandable zone that lowers Attack Speed by 35%.
 

Negatron Cloak

Combo Final Name Effect
Bloodthirster Attacks heal for 40% of damage dealt.
Cursed Blade Attacks have a low chance to Shrink (reduce enemy’s star by 1).
Sword Breaker Attacks have a 33% chance to disarm for 3 seconds.
Dragon's Claw Gain 75% Magic Resistance.
Zephyr On combat start, banish an enemy for 6 seconds.
Ionic Spark Whenever an enemy casts, they take 125 true damage.
Hush 33% chance on hit to prevent the enemy champion from gaining mana 4 seconds.
Runaan's Hurricane Attack 1 extra target, dealing 75% damage and applying on-hit effects.
Quicksilver When CC’d, cleanse the CC. 3 second cooldown.
 

Giant's Belt

Base Final Name Effect
Zeke's Herald At the start of the combat, allies within the same row gain 15% attack speed.
Titanic Hydra Attacks deal 3% of the wearer's max HP to target and adjacent enemies.
Red Buff Attacks burn 20% max health over 10 seconds.
Zephyr On combat start, banish an enemy for 6 seconds.
Warmog's Armor Regenerate 6% missing Health per second (max 400 HP per tick).
Morellonomicon Spells deal burn damage equal to 20% of the enemy’s maximum health over 10s.
Redemption At 25% HP, heals nearby allies for 1200 Health.
Frozen Mallet Wearer is also Glacial.
Trap Claw On combat begin, gain a spell shield. When it breaks, stun the champion who broke the shield.
 

Needlessly Large Rod

Base Final Name Effect
Hextech Gunblade Heal for 25% of all damage dealt.
Guinsoo's Rageblade Gain 5% stacking Attack Speed on it. Stacks infinitely.
Locket of the Iron Solari At the start of combat, allies within the same row get a 300HP shield for 7s.
Ionic Spark Whenever an enemy casts, they take true 125 damage.
Morellonomicon Spells deal burn damage equal to 20% of the enemy’s maximum health over 10s.
Rabadon's Deathcap Gain +50% Ability Power
Luden's Echo Spells deal 180 splash damage on hit.
Yuumi Wearer is also a Sorcerer.
Jeweled Gauntlet The wearer's spells can critically strike.
 

Tear of the Goddess

Thief's Gloves This item takes all three item slots. On round start, the wearer equips 2 temporary items.
