The venue for the Galaxy Battles Major has been revealed. At Philippine Arena the best teams in the world will battle for $1,000,000 from January 15th to 21st.
Galaxy Battles, organized by Fallout Gaming, will be the third Major of the season, featuring $1,000,000 prize pool and 1,500 Pro Circuit points.
The Philippine Arena in Santa Maria and Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines is the largest indoor stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of 51,898. As a comparison, The Manila Major 2016 took place at Mall of Asia Arena, which could accommodate only 20k seats.
All info on qualifiers, invites, and format must still be released, but with such a grand venue the organizers are undoubtedly expecting a huge affluence of fans.
